Shorty's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Shorty's Story...
Shorty is a 2 year old Chiweenie. He was surrendered because his owner wasn't able to care for him anymore.

In his foster home, he's working on his potty training/ house breaking, as his previous owner never though was necessary for a small dog to know that. He's doing well, is very proud of his accomplishments, and is a good eater :)

Shorty does great with dogs of ALL sizes and is very playful, but can be a bit boisterous while playing. He does well with cats and children too. Knowing he's all-out-cute, Shorty likes to sleep on the bed and believes he should be welcome even though it's too high for him, but he's crate trained too as long as he has a toy and a bone to occupy his time.

This little boy enjoys toys, stuffed, squeaky and balls to chase. He knows commands and is very eager to please his human. He will need a patient forever home that will make sure he has structure and completes his potty training to become house broken... he's ready to make you proud!

Shorty is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $175.00.

Meet him Sunday at
Pet Club Scottsdale
93rd Street & Shea Blvd.

Adoption event is 11am-2pm

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shorty, a Phoenix Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
