for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Bernard's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Bernard's Story...
Bernard was returned by his adopter because he did not get along very well with the dog at home. They had him neutered and this didn't help much either although when Bernard was around dogs here and during the previous owner's meet and greet everything went fantastic so we are unsure what is going on. The previous owner tried everything they could to make it work but still it did not work. Unfortunately, Bernard is now back at our shelter waiting to see if a new friend will come give him his forever home. If you are willing to give this great guy a second chance at his permanent home, stop in and ask to meet him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bernard, a Troy German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Troy, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
