Buff is such a sweetheart! He was rescued along with some other kitties at a McDonalds. He managed to survive a very cold winter before being rescued! He is a FIV + kitty, but that doesn't stop him - he is very healthy boy that loves to play. He has a beautiful buff coloring, hence his name! He loves to talk to you and loves to be held :-). He is shy at first meeting a stranger but warms up once he knows you are his friend :-).

If you are interested in adopting Buff and providing him his forever home, please contact Barbara Dimopoulos at (423)309-1163

About SCRATCH, Inc. - TN Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Our name is our mission statement. SCRATCH -
S- Saving homeless
C- Cats by
R- Reducing numbers via
A- Alteration, Adoption and
C- Connecting with cat advocates and
H- Helping cat caretakers.

We are a cat welfare organization that focuses on the stray, feral and free-roaming cat. We help the caretakers of these cats with the management of their cat colony using the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)method. Our group connects with cat advocates all over the area, so we can work together to give assistance where needed most. We often find friendly cats and tameable kittens during the TNR process and do our best to adopt them out to good homes. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We bring some of these beautiful cats and kittens to the Hixson Petsmart every Saturday from 1-5. We also have some that remain at the store all week and can be seen every day during regular store hours or by appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process includes an application, interview and contract. We try to make the best match possible for the cat and adopter.
