Geno's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Geno's Story...
This sweet 7 year old boy is named Geno. He came to DTDR after his only family had to get rid of him because they had a new baby. He's neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and an overall very healthy guy. Geno is a velcro-Dobe that loves his family, other dogs, and kids over 5 years old. He's perfectly behaved in the house, potty trained, and knows basic commands. He rides well in a car and needs a fenced-in yard to run and play. This wonderful guy just wants a family that he can continue to love and keep watch over. He loves his foster Dober-sisters, so a home with another dog would make him very happy. Geno's adoption fee is $100 and he is being fostered in Indianapolis, In. We adopt to Indiana and the surrounding states. Applications and more information are at www.DedicatedtoDobes.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Geno, a Lafayette Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Lafayette, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Lafayette.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lafayette already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lafayette breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lafayette paves the way for another one to be saved.
