I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rafiki's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Rafiki's Story...
Rafiki was found living in a car wash. That is not a safe place for a cat, so he had to be relocated. We got him neutered and during his recovery we discovered that Rafiki is a very loving lap kitty. He loves to be held and to curl up in your lap for a long nap. He also likes other kitties and will socialize with them all! We estimate that Rafiki was born about June 20, 2015.

Rafiki has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, has been dewormed, and is up to date with all his shots. Rafiki requires a home where he will never be declawed, or allowed to go outside.

If you would like to find out more about adopting this delightful cat, please call Cari at 571-408-9626 or email info@shadowcatadvocates.org. We answer emails as quickly as possible, but calling for info will be much faster.

"My names Rafiki. I don't belong behind this cage wall. I heard maybe you could change that? My hobbies include playing with my roommate Creamsicle and napping next to my roommate Creamsicle.. Oh! and dangly things, like the keys that open my door, verrry fun stuff😜 My interest are: a forever home, lots of love and attention. You bring the home and I'll bring the purs. Until then I'll be residing at the Petco on 610 in Stafford, VA.
Think of me, Rafiki😽"

"P.s. If you double adopt me and my bestfriend Creamsicle you will be the ultimate hero of all time, ever."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rafiki, a Stafford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Stafford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Stafford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stafford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stafford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stafford paves the way for another one to be saved.
