Hi, I'm Chicken Nugget! I know, what a strange name for a cat. Let me tell you how I got it.

I don’t remember if I was dumped or if I got away from someone but I do know that I wandered around alone for a couple of months in an apartment complex. The humans who lived there occasionally fed me but I also had to dig through the garbage to get enough to eat. Luckily a volunteer from Furkids saw me, and unknown to me, she put a plan into action to get me off the streets.

A nice lady started showing up every evening and feeding me. I would let her pet me but I didn’t know her well enough to let her pick me up. She tried but I would always back away. After a couple of days, she tried to outsmart me. She gave me something called Chic-fil-a chicken nuggets, and I couldn’t resist! They smelled soooo good. I started gobbling up those nuggets and the next thing I know, I'm on my way to Furkids.  That is why my name is Chicken Nugget!  My foster mom calls me “Nuggie”. I don’t mind, I kinda like it.

My foster mom says I am a very sweet cat but need a little time when first meeting someone new. I really want my furrever family to find me soon. I want a home and family to call my very own. Is that something you can help me with?
