Cash's Story...
Cash is a super sweet 6 year old male rat terrier. He was abandoned by his family but fortunately is now in a wonderful foster home while he's waiting for a new family to come along and adopt him.

This fun little guy is great with kids. His foster family includes children ages 2, 9, and 13 and he adores them. Cash also knows his basic commands -- sit, come, and down -- and he's willing to learn more. He's housebroken and very well behaved.

Cash is available through Pathways Home Animal Rescue and you may be connected with his foster by calling 6O2-481-3498, or send us a note on this page for an adoption application. Please also watch our Sunday morning posts for Cash's weekend social schedule as he may be attending our Sunday adoption event this week!

Cash is up to date on his shots, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $100.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cash, a Phoenix Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
