Ponytail's Story...
Creamy orange and white Ponytail is just as sweet as a 50/50 bar! She can be a little cautious at first when meeting new people and exploring new environments. But once she has gotten the lay of the land, Pony really opens up. She's an affectionate girl who will give you head bumps until you pet her. She would also be happy to nap with you. If you're not available for nap time, a sunny windowsill will do fine. Pony loves to play! All toys are entertaining to her, but her favorite toy is her sister Lilikoi! They live for a good wrestling match. Pony and Lili don't have to be adopted together (they do make a perfect pair though), but Pony does need at least one other playful, active kitty in her forever home.

If you are interested in adopting wonderful little Ponytail and/or her sister Lilikoi, please fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ponytail, a Hesperia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hesperia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Hesperia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hesperia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hesperia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hesperia paves the way for another one to be saved.
