Hey Y'all! I'm Jolene, Jo for short. I'm a happy go lucky girl who hails from Texas. I've been in a shelter since I was 8 weeks old, but I don't dwell on that, not one bit! I'm excited to start a new life in a home of my own and learn what it means to be a dog. You know, running, jumping, digging, playing with toys and basking in the sun. I'm pretty smart and my foster mom says I'm doing great with my training. I'm almost 100% house trained and doing great in my kennel. She says I'm a "tricks" dog, so we're working on "Stick 'Em Up!"- you've got to see it. I'm pretty amazing, if I do say so myself. I'm also pretty amazing at zooming (yes, zooming!), wiggling, and eating. You know what I'm the best at? Loving and giving kisses. I can't wait to find my forever family so I can show them how amazing I am! Is that you?
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care, enabling us to save more lives!
Adoption fee is $200 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.
Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.
2. We'll contact you to schedule a home visit.
3. If the pet looks like a great match, fill out our Adoption Agreement online (or Foster-to-Adopt Agreement), pay the Adoption Fee, and arrange to pick up your new furry family member!

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
