Come Meet Our Pets...
We are located near the County Commons, off of SCR 1004, between The Senior/Community Center and State Patrol. The Shelter is open M-S 9:00 AM-5:00 PM with animal visitation hours of 10:00 AM-4:00 PM.
Our Adoption Process...
We are not a same day adoption shelter. To be considered as an adopter, you must: 1. Either own or be renting a permanent residence. 2. Be at least 18 years of age (or have parental permission in the adoption if under 18) 3. Have a current ID or Driver's License showing curent age and address 4. Be willing and able to provide adequate training, necessary medical care, and loving attention to an adopted pet 5. Pay adoption fees of $110 for dogs, $125 for puppies, $90 for cats and $105 for kittens. These fees include microchip and initial registration, spay or neuter surgery, license fee for first year, rabies and distemper vaccination when applicable and veterinary exam at local participating veterinary clinics. These fees also help partially cover the cost of the animal's care and feeding during the animal's stay at the shelter.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
