Mike's Story...
Steve and Mike are brothers who came to us from a shelter in central Missouri. They are said to be full breed chihuahuas and they do have wonderful chihuahua personalities but these boys will probably be in the 11 - 15 pound range. We refer to them as The Twins. They are both black and tan smooth coat chihuahuas. Each has just a bit of white on his chest. As of September 1, they are about 15 weeks old, are doing well on their house training and are loving life as a puppy. Either or both of these boys would be wonderful family pets.

The adoption fee for Mike is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mike, a House Springs Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
