Facts about Kayla: Loving and Lovely

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10480191-Tara
  • Hair: Short

As you can see, Kayla is a strikingly beautiful kitty, with splashes of orange stripes amidst her warm, brown tabby coat. She was rescued from a feral colony in Coney Island where she had clearly been abandoned, because as soon as she saw her rescuer-to-be, she showed off all her sweetness in order to be taken off the streets and into a home.

Inside, Kayla is even more of a total love. She will come to you for pets and push her face into your hand for more. She’s as sweet as she is beautiful—and that’s saying a lot! This all around wonderful cat deserves a wonderful home of her own, where she’ll fit right in, bringing her loving, gentle nature and cute purr along.

Kayla is spayed, FeLV/FIV negative, current on vaccines, and microchipped. If you’d like to meet this lovely love-bug, contact Tara Green at catsbkny@gmail.com!

Thank you for thinking of animals in need - your support allows us to help the next furry sweetheart!

About Brooklyn Animal Action

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
