COURTESY POSTING for Reach Out Rescue
If you are interested in Sarge, please contact Reach Out Rescue at firstname.lastname@example.org
This handsome boy is SARGE (aka Sargie), a Black Labrador mix who is 4 1/2 years old and currently weighing around 50 pounds is seeking an adoptive home or foster home. He is currently sitting in kenneling because he was returned to the rescue by his adopter of 3 years and his foster is no longer available.
Sargie is a lover and cuddler. He is VERY food motivated and seeks to please his handler. Sarge loves to go on long walks, runs, or hikes plus he really enjoys playing in the water and going for car rides too. And a bonus -- Sargie has amazing leash manners too.
Sadly, Sarge received very little socialization and training in the 3 years he was living with his adoptive family. Because of this, Sarge has a lot of fear issues. The rescue is working with a trainer to help Sarge. He needs a foster family or adopter who will work with Reach Out Rescue and their trainer to help him overcome his fear of new people. He needs a foster that has no other pets and preferably an ADULT ONLY foster. If you are interested in Sargie, please contact us at email@example.com.
