This is Banjo, he was a stray that was very malnourished when he was found. Our best guess is that he is perhaps a terrier or feist mix. He is staying with 8 other dogs. He maybe a little guy but he bosses the other dogs around. He thinks he is the biggest dog on the property. He loves to run and give you kisses.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at survivortails.org or email adoptions@survivortails.org with any questions.

We can only adopt in the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Banjo, a Boston Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist for sale in Boston, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
