Max is a 2 year old neutered male who was rescued off the streets if Waterbury. When our Adoption Director, Hanna rescued him he was a mess, evidence of neglect, and full of fleas. When Hanna got him she washed him and Max never even tried to scratch her or bite her. Max allows her to comb him as she was checking him for fleas. Then, she discovered that this orange feline has the softest hair. Our Adoption Director is fostering this gorgeous orange cat who is very nice, but needs time to adjust to a new home. Unfortunately, this cat needs caring, gentle and compassionate home as we believe Max’s previous owners were not very kind to him. He does need some time before he is available for adoption.
In order to pre-qualify, we must be able to get a veterinarian reference (in your own name) to be able to adopt any Rose Hope Animal Refuge cat. Max, Mostly Orange Tiger with White Coloring Cat has a Donation/Adoption fee of $175.00 which includes the following: neutered, veterinarian examination, FELV/FIV(-) tests, rabies, & distemper vaccinations.
