AUG 23, 2016:
Ezra, or Ezzy as we fondly call her (approximately 2 1/2 yrs old), didn't seem to feel well when she arrived at Almost Home. The vet helped us identify the cause of Ezzy's distress -- it turns out that Ezzy has chronic Pancreatitis. She has been on a special diet for a few months now, and she is feeling so much better!
Her sweet personality shines when she is receiving love from people. (Though she is not a big fan of other cats. Maybe she thinks they'll eat all of her delicious food!) Ezzy gets three meals daily of canned Royal Canin Low Calorie/ High Fiber food that is mixed with shredded chicken that we cook for her. She would also do well on a raw food diet, just no dry cat food, please. Her dietary needs are easy to deal with and keep her happy and healthy. If you think you could cook a little chicken for a delightful cat companion, then Ezzy is the girl for you!
