Jackson is discovering that not all humans are bad, and that he REALLY loves toys! He is very puppy-like in his mannerisms and can be a total goof ball. He does have some resource guarding issues (toys and food); he would be perfectly fine as an only dog, but may do well with another dog pending proper introductions. NO CATS for this guy though. We would recommend an experienced owner with no young children though (under 16 years).
Jackson would love a patient and understanding home to further help him come out of his shell and show him how great life can be. He is still a bit nervous on a leash, so a fenced in yard would be wonderful for him. An active owner that likes walks and/or hikes would also be good for him.
If you would like to meet Jackson and possibly welcome him into your home, showing him what it's like to be a member of a real forever family, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us at 216-307-RUFF.
