Information

Hi! My name is Duncan and I am 10 years young. I was previously adopted but had to return to BDRA when my owner passed. I am currently living with my foster mommy and am settling in quite nicely. So, a little about me - I do steps very well; my foster mommy says that sometimes I forget that I am blind. I do love the snow; my mommy attached some pics for you. I like to rub my nose in it and hold my head up so I can feel the snow falling on me. I have two canine siblings. My favorite thing to do is snuggle with my human. My foster mom lets me lay next to her on the couch at night and she tells me what a good boy I am. Stay tuned....
Blind Dog Rescue's Board has voted to ban the use of electric fencing effective immediately.

About Blind Dog Rescue Alliance - MA

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of volunteers spread throughout the United States (and even a couple in Canada) who are dedicated to advocating for blind and visually impaired dogs by rescuing dogs in shelters, helping blind dog owners, and educating the public. We formed in 2009, though our members have many years of experience in rescue, and in blind dogs.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested in adopting a BDRA Dog? Simply fill out our application. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered,

up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick preventive.

We ask a $300 adoption fee. This does not begin to cover the vetwork we do on our dogs, which is why
we are always fundraising!

The Board of Directors has voted to prohibit the use of Invisible/Electronic fences on Blind Dog Rescue Alliance dogs. This policy will be effective immediately.

Keep in mind that Blind Dog Rescue Alliance will transport dogs to their potential adopters. So do not let distance discourage you.
