Nico's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Nico's Story...
Nico is a silky black kitten approximately 5 months old on 8/20/16. He is one of four found kittens dropped off at a local vet's office and now fostering with Dusty Paws.

Confident and calm, Nico is the leader of the pack. He is people-oriented and prefers being petted to playing, although he does love to wrestle with his siblings. He seems to love the attention he receives at adoption showings. He is shown in one photo with his brother Dillon. Curled up together, they are quite an attractive and peaceful duo.

Nico is neutered, vaccinated, and combo tested - all ready to go into a loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nico, a Castro Valley Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
