My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rhonda is a middle-aged and very active beagle. She is very slim and trim and is quite the hunter, spending her time sniffing the ground for squirrels, which are plentiful around her new foster home. She is a busy little beagle!
Rhonda is very friendly and goes to everyone for attention, but she is not annoying or insistent. She gets along well with other dogs.
Rhonda likes to be outside, in fact, she much prefers the yard to the house and doesn't want to come in without some coaxing and persistence. She has had several accidents but is improving every day.
Rhonda likes her walks but so far has not gone potty on the leash. If left to her own devices, she could become an escape artist. Rhonda has not yet earned foster mom’s trust in being left alone in the yard. A secure fence would probably be best for this determined beagle girl.
It was found that Rhonda had parasites and Lyme and has been treated for both. Unfortunately in her old life she may not have had the best care. It is easy to give her a pill and she is on the road to better health. Rhonda isn't saying, but it is apparent that she was in a puppy mill type of situation and has had numerous litters. She is now spayed and retired from motherhood.
Rhonda is very thankful to Midwest BREW for saving her from her past life and so far is enjoying her foster home, but Rhonda would much prefer a FOREVER home!
