Asa is a super friendly and mellow young boy! He behaves very well around people and is gentle with young children. He gets along with dogs and cats.
Asa is a good natured, calm, docile, and easy-going young boy. He is very friendly to other dogs. Even in front of food, he’s a true gentleman. He loves to play food catching game and is very good at it. Asa will be a great companion for any type of family since he’s with such a great temperament!
About Asa’s rescue:
One morning, on her way to feed stray dogs, the rescuer spotted Asa crossing a busy street, with a metal leash still on him. Asa looked very tired and filthy. When the rescuer led him to a safe place and put food and water out for him, Asa gobbled them up in no time.
At the vet’s office, a scan of chip to no avail, followed by a full checkup. Unfortunately, he was infected with heart worm. After being treated in the hospital for a whole month, Asa finally got a clean bill of health.
In his hospital stay, he was highly praised by all the staffs for his good temperament. The original plan was to have him TNR (trap/neuter/return), so his ear was cut as a mark. Asa being such a mellow and docile young pup, the rescuer did not have the heart to let him out on the street as a stray again. Asa was placed with foster home.
Asa really deserves a good family to love him and care for him. Are you willing to give him a chance to share a happy life with your family?
