Brother's Story...
This cutie is Brother, a sweet cat looking for a new home. Brother likes where he is living right now, but has not been very nice to the other kitties he is living with. He would be a wonderful indoor/outdoor mouser and is an excellent hunter! We think he would do best as an only cat. Brother is a very nice, very friendly cat and we'd love to find him a new home soon. Brother will be staying at his current home until we can find him a wonderful new home, and he is not available to see at the shelter, but please give us a call if you are interested in giving this great cat a loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brother, a Colville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
