Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Ollie! I weigh about 11 pounds, and I am approximately 8 years old. My former family had a lot of changes to their life recently and felt that I needed a new family that had more time to devote to me. It sometimes takes me a bit to warm up to new people. I can be very active but I do love my cuddle time.
I can be very focused and food motivated so I would not be too difficult to train. I love going outside to explore. And I will walk calmly on a leash. I like to be by your side, but I also like to venture off to sniff around on my own.
At night, I would like to sleep up in the big bed with you, but I am also content to curl up into my blanket with my favorite toy in my crate. I can entertain myself for hours with my toys, but I would also love to just be by your side absorbing the attention. When you leave, I I am content to wait quietly until you come back.
I am housebroken, and I am very good at waiting until I can go outside plus I have had no accidents in the house!
When meeting new people, I tend to bark first. Please ask your guests to sit down so that I am not intimidated when I approach them and have them offer me treats. I am usually good with most other dogs, big and small, but I do like to roughhouse occasionally possibly because I had lived with a big dog for four years. I tend to be the alpha dog.
I am very healthy, am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My current temporary home is in Brookville, OH, but my foster mom has promised me that she will transport me to my new forever home.
Now that I have told you a little about myself, please contact my foster family and tell them a little bit about you! I hope that I will be able to meet you soon and become a valued member of your family. Thank you so much for giving me a chance to be part of your life!
From my foster mom:
