FOSTER COMMENTS: Spencer loves to investigate and meet new people and dogs. He sure likes to cuddle on the sofa with his foster Mom, but if another dog is around or a favorite toy, he is ready to play. He plays well with other dogs and particularly likes to play with tennis balls and stuffed toys. He has a friendly personality and is a happy dog. Spencer LOVES to be with people and he’s yet to meet a stranger. He does great in the car and doesn't make a peep while riding in his crate. At night, he just strolls right into his crate and waits for his night time treat. There isn’t a peep out of him until the next morning. Spencer would love to find a forever family with a canine companion for him to play with.
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Spencer found himself in a local animal shelter where he was picked up as a stray. When shelter volunteers reached out for help, BFPA was happy to bring this sweet little dog into our program and help him on his journey to find his forever family. Since coming in to foster, Spencer has learned his name and is working on some basic commands. He fit right in with the other small dogs in his foster home and is acclimating quite well to his new environment. He has enjoyed learning about how fun toys and tennis balls can be. He can't wait to find his forever family!
