Casey is an 8 year old Pug/Beagle mix. He weighs 30 pounds, and will not be growing anymore. Casey has been a loving, loyal dog for my mother in law. Our mother in law is no longer able to care for Casey as she is living in a nursing home. Casey has been living with us for 5 weeks. He is sweet, and has a little bit of trouble with separation anxiety. He was rescued as a puppy, so crates have always been a trigger for him. As long as he is gated in an open room, he has been fine. Casey is not comfortable with other dogs. He gets scared, and acts aggressively. We are certain that with behavior training, he will learn to tolerate other dogs. (I have confirmed this with his vet, who specializes in dog behaviors, and I can share her suggestions) We feel he will be most comfortable living in a home where he is the only dog. He loves going for walks, and he will sit by your side for hours! Truly the sweetest companion for someone who needs the unconditional love of a furry friend. Casey is current on all vaccinations,had a recent heartworm test (negative) and, is neutered. His adoption fee is $150.
