Emmit is a 1 1/2-year-old smooth coated male Saint Bernard. He came to the Colorado Saint Bernard Rescue because his owners were losing their house and dropped him off at a shelter.
Emmit is nervous around other dogs at first. Once he gets to know them, he likes to play. He is protective of his food so he will need to be kept separate during feeding time.
He does very well on car rides. He is house trained, crate trained, he knows sit and he can give you both paws to sit pretty.
Emmit is a very smart little boy.

About Colorado Saint Bernard Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501c3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to the rehoming of unwanted, neglected, abandoned and abused St. Bernards.

If you are considering bringing a Saint Bernard into your home and family, please spend some time touring our website, so that you can make an informed and well-considered decision about adding a permanent member to your family.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption fee is generally $300 but may vary depending on the dog's circumstances.

There is detailed adoption application followed by an in-depth home visit (required)

Potential adopters MUST allow the Saint to be an indoor pet and a member of the family; outside only in a fenced yard when not on-leash; keep the Saint current on heartworm preventative; all current pets in the home must be spayed/neutered; keep current ID on your Saint at all times; sign an adoption contract; be willing to pay the adoption fee.
