If you are looking for a calm, easy going, sleep all day kind of dog, Maggie is your girl!Maggie is the definition of couch potato. Give her a dog bed or a couch to lay on and she will likely be there all day. She is super sweet and just wants to be in your company. Although Maggie is a couch potato personality wise she a little more high maintenance health wise. Maggie came to us very over weight and due to her age and obesity her hips knees and joints took it hard. She needs daily medication to help manage her pain- but it's just a couple pills which she willingly eats with food! She is also hypothyroid which means she will also need medication for that as well and requires check ups with the vet to make sure her hypothyroidism is managed properly- but again another pill she takes well with food! Nothing too scary! Also due to her past of being overweight, Maggie will need to continue her daily exercise regimen which she actually really loves. Despite how much she loves to sleep she may actually love to go on walks more (she just isn't overly demanding about asking to go). She will need a few long (but overall slow) walks a day to make sure she keep her weight off! She has worked hard to get where she is now! Maggie would make a great addition to just about any household! She is housebroken, can be left alone without a crate, is fine with dogs and cats and while she hasn't been around too many kids probably wouldn't mind them- as long as they let her be most of the time and didn't cause too much ruckus! Feel free to contact her foster mom for more information about meeting her by emailing
