Cassie is part of Happy Days Spring Fling celebration! Through the month of May, Cassie along with many others, will have a reduced adoption fee of $75!
Cassie is approx 7 years old and is very sweet. She is just a delightful dog :) She is good with kids, cats and dogs. She is playful, affectionate and smart. She knows sit and lie down, possibly other commands. She loves her toys and is just wonderful with her fosters' little girl! The shelter said she was only slightly active but she is definitely more active than that. She enjoys cuddles but also likes to run around and go crazy and have fun! Cassie would make a wonderful addition to just about any family and home!
*Update from Cassie's foster family: Cassie is doing very well, she is a very sweet dog. Loves attention, wants to be a lap dog. Great with kids, cats and dogs. She is going to be a great family dog. :) Can't help but smile with her around, I hope people will see her for the jewel she is!
Cassie has slight hip dysplasia and that is causing her to scuff her feet on the ground a lot and that is causing the sores on the pads of her feet. The dysplasia is in the early stages so she just needs supplements and pain meds as needed and she is on an anti-inflammatory for her foot. Cassie will need an adopter willing to get her the supplements and pain meds as needed and be prepared for her requiring more treatment as she gets older. For the most part, it doesn't really affect her and she runs and plays just fine.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
