My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willow is a ten-year-old black female cat. Willow came to us from a residence that unfortunately contained more pets than the owner could financially or physically care for. Don’t let her age fool you, Willow is a very young ten years! She’s playful, and loves other cats and dogs. Willow especially loves people, and can’t get enough of your attention and affection. And she’s not selfish, she gives that attention and affection and love right back at you, curling up in your lap and rolling over for you. She’s a perfect lap cat…what’s not to love about this beautiful girl?

At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Our shelter is located in the Care for Animals veterinary hospital, at 2944 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during the following hours: Monday and Tuesday 8 am to 5 pm, Wednesday 9 am to 7 pm, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 9 am to 3 pm. We have an Adoption Open House every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon – hope to see you there! We're also happy to set up appointments.
