My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

10 months, 20 pounds. Eva is a darling little girl. She is so sweet and smart but the big world still scares her. In her foster home, she is on a routine and knows it well. She goes to the door to go outside and at night she gets in her crate. She likes to cuddle on the couch and really enjoys all her toys and bones. She has a bigger K9 brother in her foster home whom she follows everywhere. They runs around the yard playing chase or just lounging in the sun. Eva has not adjusted to the leash yet. She likes to carry it in her mouth but has yet to be able to walk on it. She lays down when the leash catches her and all the new things in the outside world are just not for her.

Eva needs a home WITH ANOTHER DOG to follow, a FENCED YARD, and someone with patience to let her come out of her shell. She is not going to be a dog who loves to go for walks or parks or stores. Eva grew up in isolation in the backyard with all her siblings. She had very little human contact and saw nothing more then the back of her fence for the first 8 months of her life. She is a nervous little thing but she loves dogs, cats and kids. We would prefer a home without small children only b/c I think they would scare her.

All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and Heartworm negative unless otherwise noted. We require an adoption application, home visit and adoption fee of $200 ($150 for senior). You also get a two week trial period with all of our dogs. To apply, simply go to www.forgottenpaws.com.

Many of our dogs are in foster homes all over Atlanta, thus an application is required before an appointment can be set to meet a dog.
