Tucker's Story...
Meet Tucker!
Tucker is a 2 year old, male, border collie mix. He is spunky and full of energy. He loves people and he loves to play! He's enjoys chasing a ball or a rope if you'll throw one for him. Tucker was heartworm positive when he came to FAPS, he will soon have a healthy, heartworm-free heart and would love a new family to share it with! If adopted, Tucker will need to return to FAPS for his follow up heartworm test.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Fayetteville Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Fayetteville, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Fayetteville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fayetteville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fayetteville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fayetteville paves the way for another one to be saved.
