Mitch's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mitch's Story...
A little shy at first, but gets over that very quickly and can easily be considered a very "chill" cat. He loves people but won't pester you for constant attention. On cooler evenings, he will try to sleep in bed with you. He has been an indoor cat his whole life, with the exception of some patio time. He loves being out on the patio. He likes other cats but does not need them; he prefers people overall. Loves a good brushing and eats only wet food (rarely will he eat dry). Great with kids and babies, no exposure to dogs (yet). Mitch sleeps a lot at night and seems to be most active during daytime.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mitch, a Tampa Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
