Martin's Story...
Courtesy Posting:

Martin is a very friendly, easy-going cat, Easy to pick up and gives kisses to. He will sit next to you when ready for his cat nap. Martin is young (about 7months old), playful and curious. He will try to investigate the inside of your refrigerator. He might steal a pepperoni off your pizza, or spontaneously start playing with your phone (while you are using it!).

Martin is quite a character. He really wants to play with other cats, but doesn't quite understand appropriate timing or personal boundaries yet. It would be best if Martin were adopted as an only cat (unless you are a experienced or patient cat lover). Martin has some growing up to do. Meow.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Martin, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
