Siberian Husky

Sasha was an owner surrender for 2 reasons.  One – she had too much energy for their wiener dog and 12-year-old husky.  Two – they were having a baby and didn’t want Sasha around the baby.

She was very timid when she came here to her temporary foster home.  She was afraid to come to us.  We were told she feared men.  But I’ve found she prefers my husband over me.

Must be inside!!  She is very depressed if left outside.  She’s great inside.  She’s happy to be in the same room with her humans.  She hates being locked in a bedroom while everyone is in the living room.  She will dig at the carpet to get to her human.

Weaknesses – Shoe laces, bra straps, and paper.  She will cut through the laces and straps.  She will shred paper into tiny pieces like a hamster would do.

Potty trained with a doggie door.

Loves to play.  Her BFF here is a Chihuahua.  She will play all day if she could.  If she’s too rough, the Chihuahua will whip her butt and she doesn’t fight back.

Submissive – She knows her place with our dominant female.  She really wants to play with our huskies, but they are fat and lazy.  She’s stuck with the Chihuahua.  She will cower down and scream for dear Dog if attacked by a dominant dog.  Will not defend herself.

Always happy!!!  Absolutely no aggression or bad temperament.  She has tried to keep the toys from others, but if they show dominance, she will back down.

She can play fetch.  Loves toys.  If she doesn’t have her own, she will take your stuff to use as toys.

Cat aggressive.  We think she is cat aggressive.  She could just want to play rough with the cats.  Not a chance to take.

If you are interested in any of the dogs, the first step is to fill out an adoption questionnaire found on our website and email it back to
