Markee's Story...
MEET MARKEE! This little buff and white sweetie pie is 10 weeks old now and is 1 of the 5 Quints (his brothers are Mookie, Moochie, Mikey and Mugzee) that were rescued when he and his 4 brothers were going to be dropped off somewhere in the woods in a box at only 2 weeks of age! We rescued them right away because they needed to be bottle fed if they were going to survive! Markee and his 4 brothers have been with their foster mom since they were 2 weeks old and were bottle fed by her, making them all very affectionate with people!

Markee loves playing with his brothers and loves to play hide and seek with them! His foster mom is always laughing at him trying to trick his brothers! Markee would love to be adopted with one of his brothers too!

Markee has been vetted and has started his kitten shots. He has also been tested and is negative for FIV and FeLV and has been wormed. Markee also comes with a low-cost neuter certificate! Now all he needs is a family to love him!

Please call Joann at 908-757-7030 or email Laydeejoey@aol.com for more information or an application to come and meet this adorable little boy!

Markee will also be at the Petco in Raritan at the 202/206 circle this Sunday, September 25th, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, so come on out to meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Markee, a South Plainfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in South Plainfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in South Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
