Sasha's Story...
**Adoption Pending**

Sasha is a sweet sweet, goofy girl! She loves to follow you around and play. Sasha is around 5 years old, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccines. Sasha did test positive for heartworms but she has since been treated and has made a full recovery!

Sasha is crate trained and keeps her kennel clean, but possibly not house trained as she has lived most of her life outside. Sasha loves meeting new people and seeing new places!

Sasha does well with dogs her size or larger when introduced slowly and calmly. Dogs significantly smaller than herself must be confident and not prone to running when chased. This will likely applies to cats as well, though she has not been tested with them. Sasha has some food and toy possession towards other dogs and should be monitored closely when food, treats, and/or toys are present.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Norman Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Norman, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Norman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norman paves the way for another one to be saved.
