Jeffrey's Story...
Jeffrey is one very happy and very cuddly Norwegian Forest mix boy. He likes to be held and will snuggle himself into your arm and look up at you requesting more love. He’s always giving head butts and kneading his paws to show off how much he enjoys being petted. And Jeffrey has a gorgeous long haired coat that is perfect for tons of petting! He’s quite friendly and likes meeting new people.

Jeffrey and his buddy Erik were rescued from a shelter in central Virginia when they were surrendered by the owner who was moving and could not take the two with him. Erik was Jeffrey's companion and is also available for adoption. Ask about our reduced adoption fee special for bonded/compatible pairs!

Jeffrey was born in August 2013. He is neutered, current on his vaccinations, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been micro chipped.

Jeffrey enjoys a good quality kibble (such as chicken and rice formulas) available to snack on all day, and a half-can serving of Fancy Feast wet food twice a day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeffrey, a Merrifield Norwegian Forest Cat cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Forest Cat for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Norwegian Forest Cat cat from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Forest Cat breeders who help with Norwegian Forest Cat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
