Puppy Dog's Story...
Puppy Dog. Golden eyed black Persian. Born January 2015.
NOTE: Must be only cat

His name says it all. He is a cat that follows his people everywhere. He is also quite the chatter box and will talk with you while he follows you around. The name he came in with is Coco, probably more befitting his elegant look, but we started calling him a dog after a week or two and the name just kind of stuck. His eyes are bigger and more golden than the pictures show. It's hard to get pictures of a black cat.

Coco/Puppy Dog loves to be combed. That is rare for a Persian. He will roll right over on his back and make "air biscuits" while you comb him. He was also raised with young children so he's pretty easy going. He enjoys being picked up and carried around; he will let you hold him like a baby doll.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puppy Dog, a Davis Persian kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Davis, or seeking a Persian kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
