Georgia is a high energy girl who is going to do best in a home with somebody who is dog savvy and/or has experience with the Bull Terrier Breed. She is very dominant and stressed out by other animals so we are thinking that she needs to be the only dog in the home. A lot of that too could be the shelter environment. It can be a very stressful place for a lot of animals. Georgia will also be having surgery in the near future for a torn ACL. That is something that our vet will be doing here at our facility. Georgia is extremely strong and can play a little rough at times so we also think she will need a home no small children. Georgia is a special girl who definitely require a very special home.

About Second Chance Animal Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

For 25 years Second Chance Animal Sanctuary has been working to help homeless dogs and cats find their way into safe, permanent and loving homes. We promote animal welfare by providing rescue, proper veterinary care, and adoption for abandoned animals in Oklahoma.

Every animal has a story and many of those stories are heart-breaking, but in every case there is a common theme: an animal that deserves a second chance at life.

When you adopt, not only do you save the life of one animal, but it frees up critical space so that we can rescue a second pet. And of course, the life that is yours.

Our hours of operation are: Wed - Fri 12-6pm, Sat 10am-5pm and Sun 12-5pm. We are closed Mon & Tues.

Phone: (405) 321-1915

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $125. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and kept on monthly flea/tick/ heartworm prevention. Dogs have been heartworm and tick disease tested and cats are fiv/fel leuk negative. We do require an adoption survey and signed contract for any adoption.
