Cappy's Story...
Hi everybody! My name is Cappy, but my nickname is Target. I'm about 14 weeks old and am a good ol' all-American mix! My foster mom thinks I'm corgi mixed with Aussie, with some lab in there, too! I am the biggest of my litter mates and I just love to play and run! My foster mom is working on house training me now, but I still need work in this department! I've started my puppy shots but I'm not really old enough to have any other vetting done right now, so I will have to be adopted by a fairly local family. My adoption fee will be $150 and that will cover all my vet costs including all necessary shots, neuter and microchip. Apply to adopt me today before somebody else scoops me up! If you do not see an "Apply to Adopt" button on this page, please go to http://www.adoptapet.com/for-the-love-of-paws-k-9-rescue/pet/cappy/ & click on "Apply to Adopt" to fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cappy, a Springfield Australian Shepherd/Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Corgi for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Corgi puppy from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Corgi breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
