Update Nov. 2016: Do you remember Prince? He was rescued by Gentle Jake's this summer and has since been thriving in his foster home. Prince now goes by Beau at his foster home. He's still learning about life as a house hound but his progress is unbelievable. He's such a cuddler and with those good looks he can be pretty persuasive. Beau LOVES other dogs and playing. He is great with cats which is a huge bonus. He jumps about 10 feet in the air when he knows he's going on a walk. Beau/Prince will require a home where he has routine, exercise and company. A big shout out to his foster family for supporting his development and providing him the right environment to flourish.
Prince is a very handsome 3 ½ year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. He is a bit shy but does warm up. He likes to play with other dogs. We do not know how he is with cats. Prince will need someone who can be patient with him while he gains confidence and trust. Another dog for company would be ideal for Prince.
Prince is currently staying with a foster home in Victoria Harbour Ontario ( near Midland ). We would love to see him in a forever home!
