Julian's Story...
Julian was rescued from an area where food and water were sparse and life was only about survival. The most amazing thing about him is how quickly he has forgiven his past. Julian is a great big love bug! Anytime you sit down, he will try to snuggle in your lap. He is such a great companion who will sit with you while you drink your coffee, sleep in bed with you and follow you wherever you go. Three year old Julian is hoping for a quiet life indoors (no young children) where warm naps, food and love are never ending. As a mark of his history as a stray, Julian has a blocked tear duct in one eye that requires regular cleaning. To start the adoption process, contact Alley Cat Guardians 209-567-3570 or acg@alleycatguardians.org

Julian is neutered, current on vaccinations and negative for FIV/FeLV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Julian, a Modesto Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Modesto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Modesto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Modesto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Modesto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Modesto paves the way for another one to be saved.
