Buzz's Story...
Please view the video to see Buzz's activity level and interaction with other dogs and pups in our rescue. This 6 lb, five month old Chiweenie is always into mischief. She loves running around the yard chasing thrown tennis balls. Buzz is also a wonderful lapdog who enjoys sitting in her foster mom's lap while being cuddled. If you are looking for a watchdog, Buzz is your dog - but you must be able to tolerate her barking. She has been spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. Buzz is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. There is a $225 adoption fee for Buzz. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please contact kathi.jackson9@gmail.com to request an application. Meet greets are scheduled only for approved applicants.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buzz, a Weeki Wachee Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Weeki Wachee, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Weeki Wachee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weeki Wachee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weeki Wachee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weeki Wachee paves the way for another one to be saved.
