Dylan's Story...
I am a handsome little boy. My momma was a pure bred German Shepherd. She was hit by a car and was in the shelter with a dislocated hip. German Shepherd Rescue came and took her to have hip surgery and they found us! What a surprise! We are not sure what my dad was. My littermates and I were born on 3/25/2003. I am 7 weeks old and will be available for adoption after 5/20/2003. For more information about me or my littermates contact our foster mom Diana at 760 942-1935 or email dpohn@aol.com or to fill out an online application go to the Rescue's website: www.gsrescue.org. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dylan, a Vista German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Vista, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
