Brewster's Story...
We like our big huge lugs at Adopt A Lab and we have a new one named Brewster. This guy is your personality plus type of Labrador. He smiles and makes friends so easily. He doesn't know an enemy. Every dog, child and person is Brewster's to love.

Brewster is probably about 2 years old and is a Lab mix. He is a portly guy and loves to go for a sedate walk and lay down afterwards for a bowl of water. Ah, the simple life!

Brewster is up to date on all his vet care. He is heartworm negative and neutered.

Our Brewster needs a home of his own. He is a good boy and is eager to please. Brewster knows his basic obedience commands and tries hard to learn new ones. He would be a fun boy to take to the dog park, or doggy daycare. He probably would be one of the popular kids there with lots of friends!

Please help our boy find his forever home. He is another truly deserving Lab. We can't believe how many nice boys and girls we have right now. We need to make room for some more great dogs at Brewster's shelter and he wants to do his part by finding his forever home.

If you would like to adopt Brewster, please submit an adoption application from our website, and see our other great Labs who are looking for their forever homes, happy tails, and more!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brewster, a Boston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
