Raising a puppy requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Peanut will be an awesome addition to a family that can give her the attention, exercise, training and affection she deserves.

Due to the fact that this is a mixed breed puppy, we, nor our vets, cannot guarantee the size that your dog will be.

Health: Peanut has been spayed and microchipped. She is current on her DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has been wormed and flea treated.

History: Peanut is an owner surrender. PUP was asked to help and we are happy to help her find her forever home!

Notes from Peanut's Foster Home:

Peanut is a busy, happy puppy with lots of energy to play.  She is intelligent and has a very good foundation of basic obedience; sit, down, and loose leash walking. She is crate trained and house trained on a schedule.  Peanut enjoys hiking, jogging, and laying in front of the hearth at the day's end. Due to her age, size, and energy level, she would make a great dog for a family with older, dog savvy, respectful children.  She would be an awesome running partner, hiking buddy, or frisbee dog for some active family!

Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.

Adoption: If you think you have room in your home and heart for this dog and you reside within Washington State, please go to our Adoption Information page. There you will find more information and be able to fill out an adoption application.

About People United for Pets (PUP)

About Our Rescue Group...

People United for Pets (PUP) is a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization specializing in small and toy breed dog rescue. We are located in Western Washington State.

Our passion is to bring people and pets together. Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them.

We strive to match our dog's needs and personality to the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter. We believe this is a crucial component of the process and will help ensure a life-long relationship.

Our primary focus is on small purebred or mixed breed dogs, although we do occasionally take in larger dogs. We work collaboratively with shelters, other rescue groups, and individuals, both locally and nationally.

PUP was established in May, 2006 and since that time has placed an ever increasing number of dogs into their forever homes!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have no central facility. Our dogs are placed in foster homes around the greater Seattle area where they receive socialization and training while they await adoption.
