Skip Rogers is a precious, sweet, friendly and adorable three-legged black and white Lab mix who stole his rescuer's heart when visiting the Humane Society a month ago. He was most likely hit by a car and the right rear leg could not be saved. His new mom says that he is a kind soul, playful with their other dogs, curious and interested in the cats and friendly to their house guests. But he has nipped at their youngest child several times without provocation. She says Skip Rogers deserves a loving home with someone who will give him a second chance. About Anthem Pets Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Anthem Pets, a 501(c)(3), animal rescue is proudly celebrating over 10 years of valued and trusted service in North Phoenix. Our mission is simple; to save the lives of animals and improve their welfare.

When you support Anthem Pets, you're supporting a dedicated and passionate team of volunteers who work tirelessly to reunite lost pets with their owners, and rescue homeless and abandoned dogs and cats. Your support helps us provide veterinary care for these animals and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

We don't stop there. We have a Pet Hotline, re-bag donated pet food to residents in financial need, and host low cost microchip and vaccination clinics several times a year. We act when disasters strike, most recently providing assistance during the flooding in New River, AZ.
