My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi everybody, I'm Aphrodite and I am a spunky kitty looking for a home along with my sister Venus. We have been in our foster home (along with our mama Diana) since we were only 1 week old! Even though we love our foster home, it's time for us to get out and see the world!!

We can both be a bit shy at first, but we are curious and quickly come out of our shells. I tend to be the more adventurous one and Venus follows my lead! We both are very sweet and enjoy being petted and we absolutely LOVE to play! We will chase anything and love to play with toys on strings. Sometimes (OK, a lot of times) I think my big long tail is a toy and I chase it around and around in circles. My foster mom really needs to get that on video...I'm such a little goofball!

Venus and I have not been around dogs yet, but we may be ok with them. If you are interested in adopting us, our foster mom will test us around dogs. However, she will need to make sure that any dogs we would be living with have been around cats and have a history of being gentle with (or better yet, ignoring!!) cats so that we don't get scared or hurt. We are both fine with other cats, although as with any new pet coming into a home with existing pets, proper introductions will be important for a smooth transition for all kitties involved. Our foster mom thinks that we would do best in a home without wee little humans. She thinks that a home with older children or only adults would allow us to have time to settle in and get used to our new home at a more gradual pace.

If you think you could be the purrfect home for me or both of us, we will entertain you with endless kitty antics and playtime and then let you pet us when we're ready to rest! WOW!! What a deal!! :D

Gotta go...I have a tail to chase!!!

xoxo,

Aphrodite (and Venus)
