Boogie's Story...
Who's that beefcake in the window? Why it's Mr. Boogie Woogie! Boogie is a gorgeous 1 year old American Bulldog mix who was rescued from the mean streets by a Good Samaritan. Boogie is 100% hunk of burnin' love - he's playful, goofy, and affectionate. He's great with other dogs who don't mind a rough and tumble play partner, and Boogie is learning new skills every single day. Boogs needs an active home that's interested in working with an overgrown puppy, teaching him manners and giving him lots of exercise and interaction! He's strong and confident, so a strong handler is a must. Boogie would do well with sturdy children of any age who can cope with a 60 pound lovemuffin trying to love them down.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boogie, a Oak Park American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
