Gigi's Story...
Posting Date: 8/25/16
Approximate Age At Posting: 10 weeks

Hi, my name is Gigi.

I'm a torbie... that means I have tabby patterns and tortoiseshell coloring, at the same time. My mama is a petite kitty who was surrendered to another shelter when she was pregnant. My sister and I were born in a foster home and we've been spoiled silly, so we're as sweet as can be. I'm an energetic girl who's full of fun. I am tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Please come visit me.

Shelter hours for visitation are Thursdays 11:00 am - 2:00 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm . The shelter is closed for Holidays.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gigi, a Greenfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Greenfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Greenfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
